Hgv Training For Unemployed

Rome Common Good

Rome a city now seems gloomy and hopeless, inserted in the grip of the crisis that first arrival Alemanno aggravated by increasing fees and charges and culturally backward. The loneliness and fragmentation economic, social and urban are the distinctive feeding egos and racism. Suddenly ridden by the right which has made it the basis of his reactionary demagogy to practice unfettered logic business area as a total figure of the administration.

These days I have exploded the crisis and contradictions of this experience. What emerges from the replacements come Alemanno after the scandal "parentopoli" is clearly the intention of jumping the difficulties of political mediation - now reduced to a gang war - and relying directly to the usual powers of the city with their hunger for business: banks, builders and the Vatican. This is a quantum leap compared to the past, where the mediation of politics, but subordinate to these powers, had at least one role in the relationship with the choices and government action.

The city stunned, almost hopeless, assists the council in opposition lacks credibility, especially with Pd Veltroni still stunned by the care-Bettini. There are easily 15 years free of collusion with the powerful Roman or just holding on tight on Zingaretti. The "good weather which was" the idyll of the Democratic Party leadership and powers may now turning into a pathetic nostalgia.

But there is another Rome and can become project from the connection of struggles, those in schools, universities, workers stable and unstable, the committee's public water, the local committees and the homeless, women against the law Tarzia, of those intellectuals who often feel alone in expressing critical thinking.

We believe it is time to launch a center-left and center-right is a real challenge: a new model-Rome, a new project, a new vision of the city liberated by the big powers such as through the Committee for the Olympic Games and the sale the barracks are putting their hands on the future of the city obstructing it. A challenge that requires a sharp break with the choices made during the experience of government Capitoline even though we saw with those involved and dramatic of this administration that is practicing a new sack of Rome with a real attack of the rights of land and public property.

Care must be taken is neither utopia nor wishful thinking. E 'on the other hand the knowledge that the other Rome, the one that suffers from the crisis, the indignant, that in many cases desperate now, can come to the rescue.

In the face of despoliation of power and rights that pervades the country and the city of the crisis, the response that has in place a credible alternative is urgent. Federation of the Left as we want to open a discussion called activists, men and women of the intellectual world to spend on this city and think about Roma as a common good.

On this slogan we open confrontation with the city and, with the movements and associations, parties and all political and social realities of the left, to boost development of an alternative idea, work, culture, land use, resource use economic and environmental, defense and recovery of ownership, programming and managing public services. A path that respects the living energies that emerge from conflict with the powers set over Rome, indicating an alternative model of the city. A model that is able to give central government the public in the territory where its development is conceived as a forecast and the realization of certain utilities, housing, green, quality work, culture, the right to live in an urban environment quality, who can dismiss the logic chaos and speculation by investing in innovative projects that lead to such a city's ecological conversion. A model city that would counter the populist and authoritarian management right through the revitalization of the metropolitan city as an instrument of institutional autonomy within a practical framework for planning wide area and public participation.

We launch this challenge for us, free from immediate electoral perspective, but left convinced that the alternative to Los Angeles can and should move on with their own plan, because the resources, intelligence, passion and human wealth is unparalleled. We say in our partiality available for this project that has these characteristics along with all those who consider Rome a common good.
